This is my ‘what fell out of my head’ blog. Everything about my life goes into this blog: Cats, kids, husband, mad stuff my friends did, equally mad stuff in the news.

I’m a Christian and every Friday I focus on a topic that interests me, relating it to the Bible, my experience of being a Christian woman and how I live that out in the twenty first century.

______________________________

Fan Fiction…
Yes, I also write Twilight FanFiction (as if things weren’t bad enough in the world).

I’ve set the Aurora series seven years after the end of Breaking Dawn. It takes the Twilight characters and blends them with new ones that I’ve created. I don’t write to shock or titillate, I write to develop the characters and to tell a story. I am getting to grips with writing fiction, so any feedback you can give me would be greatly received.

Read all four over at FanFiction.Net

Aurora
Ness Masen is the new girl at Forks High. Who she is and who she appears to be are two different things. Ness is there to experience being regular teenage girl, but she has strange friends, a freaky bonding she has no choice over and her parents’ marriage just disintegrated. Being a teen looked easier in the movies…

Aurora 2: The Gift
Ness is spending Christmas in Britain with her friends Jess and Dan. They’re having a very British Christmas, with lots of turkey and tinsel. Odd, but Ness never remembered anyone mentioning that tragedy was to be part of it…

Aurora 3: Starlight
Ness’s History Teacher Stephanie Chambers is fed up with the same old same old and is getting a life. Into hers comes the mysterious Daniel Mitchell and she finds herself dragged into a dark and dangerous world. She might not be getting a life, she might be losing it.

Aurora 4: Moonrise
It should have been happily every after, but it isn’t. Jake and Ness are going through tough times and deep in the forest, not everything is moonlight and roses for Edward and Bella.

Aurora 5: Dark Star
On her 17th birthday, Maddie Mitchell wishes for two things; the guy under the clock and anything that helps her discover why her Dad vanished into thin air eleven years ago. A meeting with a strange woman gives her news of where he is and a warning that he’s in danger. Can she find Edward Cullen and her Dad before San Francisco is pulled into the Volturi’s latest scheme?
